Participant will also learn a basic rescue and hauling technique.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eCOURSE OBJECTIVE\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo be a professional and certified IRATA rope access technician, with the ability to work in any difficult to access or work at height situation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eBENEFITS\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUpon successful completion of the course, learner will be able to perform a specified range of rope access tasks under the supervision of a Level 3 rope access safety supervisor. He\/she will be:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eable to understand and follow the rope access procedures, method statements and associated risk assessments;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eresponsible for pre-use checks of his\/her own rope access equipment;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eable to assist in rigging and other operations, under the guidance of a higher grade;\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eable to undertake a simple rescue in descent, and assist in rescue operations.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTRAINEE RATIO\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe instructor to trainee ratio is 1:6.\u003cbr\u003eThe Level 3 to trainee ratio is 1:4.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe course is assessed by an independent IRATA approved assessor.
